My Story

Like many people, I didn't expect to find myself personally responsible for an EIDL loan. My situation was more complicated than most: I held a minority ownership in a business and signed loan documents believing I wasn't taking on personal liability. Later, I learned that I had in fact signed a personal guarantee — something I hadn't fully understood at the time.

The business ultimately defaulted, and I discovered the hard way how quickly an SBA loan could turn into a deeply personal financial burden. What made it even harder was realizing I had no real control over how the money was managed, yet I was still left carrying the weight of the debt.

That experience — the confusion, the stress, and the challenge of finding an attorney who actually understood EIDL loans — made me realize how many others must be going through the same struggle. This site was created so others don't have to face that process alone.

Why EIDL Experience Matters

Not all bankruptcy cases are the same. EIDL loans carry unique rules, risks, and government collection practices that many attorneys don't see every day. Working with an attorney who has direct EIDL experience can mean the difference between a smooth resolution and unnecessary complications. This directory highlights lawyers who have the right background, so you can make a more informed choice.

Our Mission

This site was created with a simple goal: to make it easier for people struggling with EIDL loan debt to find bankruptcy attorneys who truly understand these cases. The process can feel overwhelming and isolating, but you don't have to face it alone. By connecting debtors with experienced attorneys and sharing collective knowledge, we hope to make the path forward clearer and less intimidating.
